The paintings of NORMA JACKE TUCKER LEACY have been featured in solo and group exhibitions in New York state, including the Albright Knox Art Gallery in Buffalo and the Griffasi Gallery in Tonawanda. In addition, her work is in numerous private, public and corporate collections, including those of Goldome Savings Bank in Buffalo, Fox and Company in New York City, Moog, Inc. in East Aurora, NY, the Estate of Johnny Cash, and Harry Belafonte. She was born in 1924 and received a B.F.A. from the University of Illinois at Urbana, and a M.Ed. from the State University of New York at Buffalo.
She is the author of two books, Between the High Knob and the Devil's Backbone: Stories from Southern Illinois and Over the Hills and Far Away: More Stories from Southern Illinois, both available through Amazon.com.
